Recover from email phising scam

February 18, 2010

Colleagues,

If you did not enter any information in the recently received phishing e-mail your account should not be compromised. However, I recommend changing your password anyway. If you entered your username and password you MUST change the password immediately.

To do so proceed to https://mypw.tcu.edu/pwreset/ – review the Password Policy instructions at the bottom of the screen. Then look for the link that reads “Change Password”.

Additional recommendation: If you have any other non-TCU/Brite accounts (like ebay or amazon) that use the same name and/or similar passwords they should be changed as well.

Please call me if you have any questions,
