Please join us for a new workshop for Spiritual Directors. The goal of Spiritual Direction is spiritual formation – the ever-increasing capacity to live a spiritual life from the heart. The spiritual life cannot be formed without discipline, practice and accountability. There are many different spiritual disciplines or practices that will inform our spiritual life; and there is the gift of spiritual direction that is able to hold one accountable.

In the past 40 years Spiritual Directors have been able to access an ancient yet newly discovered spiritual tool called the Enneagram. While there are many different tools for personal self-discovery, none is quite as powerful and insightful as the Enneagram for the purpose of self transformation. It allows one to view oneself from the aspect of motivation and offers one the tools for greater self-knowing. The Spiritual Director can well use this spiritual discipline in the role of Director to understand and to guide the directee along the journey of spiritual formation.

The entrance into our understanding comes from knowing our own place in the Enneagram and an appreciation for the differences of personalities revealed in this spiritual discipline. This workshop is designed specifically for persons in the role of Spiritual Director, to provide information, insight and clarity into what makes each individual unique before God. Suzanne Stabile is an Enneagram Master who teaches this discipline in the ancient form of oral tradition. Her style is both informative and engaging. You will come away with an in depth understanding of the nine types of personalities found in the Enneagram and a deeper understanding of yourself and your ability to live the spiritual life from the heart – the goal of Spiritual Direction.
